ROAD TRIPS, CAMPING & KAYAKING AUSTRALIA

Australia – One of the world’s top travel destinations!
‘The Big Lap’ of Australia is high on the bucket list for many travellers. Australians love to travel.
A drive around Australia takes a long time, and it’s little wonder that many Aussies spend a year or more on the road, exploring, living in tents, caravans or motorhomes.
Towing a boat or packing a kayak can be a part of the adventure.
The drive around Australia covers 14, 935 km / 9,280 miles via National Highway 1.
Even the little island state of Tasmania can take a few months to explore fully, and the famous East Coast Road Trip from Sydney up to Cairns in Far North Queensland needs about 6 weeks to experience.
For many visitors to the country, a self-drive road trip through Australia’s outback, such as from Melbourne to Uluru (Ayers Rock), will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We still have many miles of unsealed red-dirt roads down under in Oz, where it is possible to be off the main routes and explore remote regions of the country.
It is possible to drive the whole way around our continent and keep to sealed roads whilst still seeing the outback, coastal regions, mountains, and cities the country is famous for.

EXPLORING VICTORIA

Victoria is a state full of surprises with more than enough natural attractions to keep visitors busy for months.
From the capital city of Melbourne to the high country, the world-famous Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles, and some of the best beaches in the country. Australia has it all.
Much of our focus is within Victoria, hiking, kayaking, camping, and creating self-drive itineraries to help visitors plan trips.
Did you know it is possible to see Little Penguins in Melbourne, or, less than an hour’s drive away, you can walk in the beautiful cool temperate rainforest of the Dandenong Ranges?
We love road trips and have several itineraries that may help others plan their adventures.
Most of our own travels start in Melbourne, including a two-a-week self-drive tour to see Uluru and the Flinders Ranges, and to camp and explore New South Wales and Victoria.
