Unique Theatre and Themed Restaurants in Melbourne

Where have the legendary themed restaurants gone, Melbourne?

Tikki and John’s famous ‘Crazy House’ restaurant went years ago, and now, sadly, Australia’s longest-running theatre restaurant ‘Draculas’  has had to close its doors after 37 years of scaring and amusing Melburnians and visitors from across the globe. Dracula’s had a wicked little train ride that guests would board for a journey into the depths of the restaurant. A Gold Coast Dracula is an option for anyone in that neck of the woods.

Another fab theatre restaurant was called ‘Bunratty Castle’. A medieval-themed restaurant where diners would sit at long, rough-cut tables and be served a banquet of various dishes… alas, gone.

Times have changed, and people are looking for different experiences, apparently, though a few themed and theatre restaurants are still to be found in Melbourne…
